"The Uptown Flame and Candle Bar Co Story"

The Uptown Flame and Candle Bar Company, founded on February 19th, 2022, is more than just a business selling luxury and dessert looking candles. It is the passion project of a determined individual with a big dream - to start a non-profit organization called "The In-Between Woman" to support single mothers who want to become nurses.

The In-Between Woman" is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a helping hand to single mothers who are stuck in the "in-between" - not eligible for government subsidies, No college degree,working full time and struggling to make ends meet.  

The In-Between Woman wants to break barriers that single mothers face, such as, finding the time to focus on their studies while also balancing work and family responsibilities. Many single mothers are the primary caregivers for their children and may find it difficult to juggle their responsibilities at home with their academic obligations. The In Between Woman Non Profit recognizes this struggle and provides financial support, giving them the opportunity to reduce their working hours in order to focus on their nursing education.

 The In-Between Woman non-profit represents a beacon of hope for single mothers who are striving to improve their lives and the lives of their children. By providing financial support and resources, this program empowers women to break free from the cycle of poverty and limited opportunities, opening doors to a brighter future through education and training in the nursing profession. It offers a tangible solution to the barriers that have held back many single mothers from pursuing their career goals, creating a path towards economic stability and professional fulfillment.The In- Between Woman will also partner with other Non- profit organization to maximize opportunities for success.

Tirzah ro, a single mother with a dream, took to the open roads of Arizona with her father's support. Together, they embarked on a journey to Las Vegas, Nevada to buy candle supplies listed for sale on OfferUp. Her father didn't hesitate to hit the road in the wee hours of the morning to help his daughter with her dream.

The idea for The In Between Woman came to the founder during a time of struggle. As a single mother herself, she knew firsthand the challenges that many women face when trying to support their families on their own. She wanted to create a support system for these women, a safe space where they could find help and resources to make their lives a little bit easier. With the support of her father, the founder of Uptown Flame and Candle Bar Company worked tirelessly to turn her dream into a reality. She spent countless hours researching and planning, reaching out to anyone who would listen. Through the sale of her candles at Uptown Flame and Candle Bar Company, the founder hopes to raise awareness and funds for The In Between Woman. A portion of the proceeds from every sale goes directly towards supporting single mothers in need, giving them a helping hand when they need it most.
